Turkish Apple Tea

Turkish Apple Tea is a common beverage in the daily life in Turkey. It's really soothing drinking it during the cold weather and refreshing during the hot weather.

Raki

Raki is the national liquor from Turkey. It contains 45% alcohol and 1,5 anise per liter. Ah.... anise.... no wonder I like it very much.

To drink raki, you need to mix it with water (1:3 - raki:water). It tasted really good!!!

Brunch

Just came back from having DimSum brunch with my mom :)

The location of the restaurant is only less 3 minutes from my house. Not a fancy restaurant, not many dishes, only a small restaurant but the food tasted pretty good!

So, these all were the DimSum that we ordered.

Feast for the Eyes...
Lumpia Saus Tiram (Oyster sause)
Siew Mai
Ha Kao
Bakut Tausi
I love this chicken's scrawl very much!
The last one!
Lor Mai Kai!!!
First time for me to eat it...
I probably would never know or interested about this dishes if it's not mentioned so many times in some blogs :) It's really good, Lor Mai Kai almost tasted the same as Bacang Kong Hu (the cantonese sticky rice wrapped with Lotus/Bamboo leaves or maybe is it the same?).
